To make it short — childishly comfortable clothes!
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Shampoodle started when we was expecting our first child and was moving back to Sweden.
We thought that we might as well resign from our work and start our own company now that we
had so much time... That company was an advertising agency called ‘N’OtherThings, which was to work with advertising and “other things”. As in “all-the-things-that-we-never-got-around-doing” when working in other agencies. Like starting your own children’s wear line and learning something completely new –
how to design and produce clothes for example.
Or maybe... it was when Jakob walked of a ferry after a reportage trip to Saint Petersburg in the early 90's, and in a tired ramble explained that it would be such a great idea to start a high-end dog grooming parlor in Vegas with a satellite in Beverly Hills - only shampooing the most pampered and spoiled brat air-dogs. And this should be called Shampoodle.
But really... it was probably our mutual interest in fashion, a longing for stylish fun children's wear and the urge to produce something more tangible than advertising, that made us start Shampoodle.
